Brad is joined in the studio by friend-of-the-show Donna Schuele to talk about her recent retirement, the 24th Amendment, and how the amendment relates to recent national discussions around voter ID requirements. We explore some of the Supreme Court Cases, in the last 20-ish years especially, that change how we view voter ID requirements. Donna recently retired from teaching Political Science, American History, and Business Law at the University of California and California State. She is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University and holds a PhD from UC Berkley. She has also previously clerked for the 9th circuit federal court of appeals.

Brett and Brad dive into the short and meaty 15th Amendment in the first half of the show, examining how Supreme Court interpretations have changed over time. In the 2nd half of the show we discuss some new promising drugs for treating pancreatic cancer: Daraxonrasib and Elraglusib, and Brett explains how they work. We also talk through a potential new way to detect pre-diabetes through AI analysis of speech, and we elaborate more on Israel's recent escalation with Lebanon.
